Account Manager (Data Sales) – New York, NY

DESCRIPTION

Our client is a MarTech solution and they’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to cultivate relationships with existing data buyers and channel partners. As an integral member of the Data Team, you’ll grow business in a rapidly scaling division of the company and this role is crafted with a personable, self-directed individual in mind. The company culture is fast-paced and entrepreneurial. Deep experience in the digital space is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify potential new business and develop strong relationships to drive larger agency/DSP investment
  • Manage existing relationships with agency groups, trade desks, SSPs, and DSPs, with a focus on data sales
  • Negotiate agency contracts and manage relationships to ensure successful completion
  • Consult with clients to identify areas for improvement in data buyer’s experience and implement education programs, mentoring, and data solutions product updates to better use
  • Contribute to data sales go to market strategy and best practices
  • Represent company at industry events and network with key industry figures
  • Support sales executives in their pursuit and relationship building with new and existing clients

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least five years of experience in MarTech, AdTech, data sales, or similar; agency experience a plus, direct data campaign experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of online media, programmatic, audience targeting, and RTB
  • Experience delivering and managing programmatic campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and a great verbal and written communicator
  • Analytical mindset, able to work methodically and plan projects
  • Independent work ethic and entrepreneurial drive
  • Ability to travel internationally
