Director of Brand Performance and Performance Sales – NY

Our client, a technology leader in the Ad Tech space, is looking for a talented Director of Business Development to join their growing team. The role requires a strong communicator who can move quickly to capture sales opportunities. As Director of Business Development for Brand Performance and Performance Sales, you’ll be a leader in customer experience. This opportunity is ideal for a creative hunter who solves problems quickly and wants to make the internet a safer place for all.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as point person for client list, managing full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure optimal performance and superior customer experience
  • Present client story with conviction
  • Qualify new revenue opportunities
  • Negotiate complex contracts and interpret SaaS for clients
  • Represent brand at all times, including industry events and panels

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 – 10+ years in business development, ad tech, and/or cyber security with knowledge of martech players and advertisers
  • Rolodex of brand direct and agencies are a plus
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Ability to travel at any moment to meet with potential clients and strategic partners
  • Self-driven with a track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing cross-departmental teams in customer success
  • Highly motivated with the ability to close new business and develop key relationships
