VP Sales, Demand

OVERVIEW
Our client is a mature company with global reach, providing a cloud-based platform in digital signage, looking for a VP of Sales with the vision, drive, and discipline to play a pivotal role by developing, implementing, and leading the North American DOOH platform. This role reports to the COO and requires strong leadership skills and extensive travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Develop and execute strategies for sales and distribution in territory and assemble a sales team to achieve implementation
      • Be attuned to opportunities in the market with an eye to revising or rebuilding strategy, lines of business, and new models, as possibilities for increasing growth and value arise
      • Use Salesforce to manage and maintain pipeline
      • Demonstrate leadership and cross-departmental cooperation on platform initiatives
      • Facilitate opportunities with inbound leads
      • Manage all aspects of customer contracts for your team, including development, structure, negotiation, execution, and compliance

REQUIREMENTS

      • Advanced degree with experience as VP Sales, or similar, and 8+ years experience in developing and executing sales strategy
      • 5-10 years experience in team management and a demonstrated history of working with motivated professionals
      • Complex solution selling background with experience in SaaS based B2B, or similar, technology company
      • Proven history leading and closing large scale negotiations in Digital Out of Home or interactive media sector
      • Superlative attention to detail with an acumen for strategy, adaptability, and problem solving in ambiguous situations and a rapidly changing environment
      • A team leader dedicated to overall success with the leadership skills to transition strategy into implementation
      • Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analysis skills supported by thorough knowledge of intellectual property, software licensing, and contract law
      • Extensive experience in management across disciplines
      • Lead with a dedication to operational distinction and the ability to manage on multiple fronts with attention to opportunity, strategic value, and cost
      • Ability to formulate and communicate insights and opinions on complex problems with clarity and concision
      • Deep understanding of distribution environment and program implementation
      • Experience negotiating with companies fulfilling simultaneous roles
