Programmatic Sales Account Executive – New York, NY

DESCRIPTION

Our client has a data-driven platform that provides marketing solutions in the B2C space and they’re looking for a talented Programmatic Seller to join their growing team. As an early hire to the sales team, you’ll have the opportunity to drive revenue and programmatic account planning across multiple agencies and holding companies. You’ll be the expert across display, video, and mobile for programmatic buying, working with internal teams to continually evolve the business. This role demands an ambitious hunter with the ability to analyze data to provide insights and generate buying opportunities. The right candidate has a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and its players with an emphasis on exchange and audience-based sales. This role is best suited for a high-energy sales professional who can solve problems quickly and prioritize responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify new business opportunities from agency trading desks, networks, and direct advertisers, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Curate strong partnerships with potential programmatic buyers
  • Meet and exceed revenue and productivity goals
  • Serve as subject matter expert, leveraging product expertise to drive programmatic revenue
  • Collaborate with internal teams, using data and analytics to provide market feedback and convert into sales
  • Analyze data product lines and channels to identify strategic opportunities to ensure client needs and product align

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Sales, Business, or another related field with a deep understanding of programmatic selling and buying within the digital advertising space
  • 3 + years experience in sales and account management with digital advertising experience highly preferred
  • Strong background with direct advertiser sales and data interpretation
  • Proven track record of driving programmatic revenue
  • Highly analytical with experience in analyzing product potential and developing solutions
  • Ability to manage and prioritize internal and external deadlines
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with executives at all levels
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and strategy into concise summaries
  • Ability to travel as needed
