Sales Engineer – New York, NY

DESCRIPTION

Partnering with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams, the right candidate for this Sales Engineer role has experience with enterprise clients, is adept at working with both technical and commercial stakeholders, and has a deep technical pedigree with understanding across the display, video, OTT, and mobile landscape. You’ll collaborate with teams to vet new opportunities against product functionalities and gather high-level requirements to support the sales process. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent client needs in engineering conversations and the tech side in client meetings
  • Communicate with clients to help them leverage solutions to meet their goals
  • Advise clients and sales team regarding technical issues in both a pre and post-sales capacity
  • Communicate client pains, needs, and struggles to the R&D teams and collaborate on future product enhancements and solutions opportunities
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and competitive intelligence, bringing expertise to product positioning and expansion

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated success as a sales engineer with at least six years of relevant technical experience
  • Experience with both architecture and implementation of projects that support display and video inventory across desktop, mobile, and OTT
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with ad servers as well as demand and sell-side platforms
  • Ability to work across diverse skill sets, as well as geographically dispersed teams
