VP of Publisher Development – New York, NY

Taking the lead on publisher development, you’ll build and grow revenue-focused partner relationships while cultivating a team of high-performing account managers. This role has been crafted for a consultative relationship builder who is adept at managing the customer life-cycle, anticipates concerns, and consistently communicates value.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive sales with new and existing clients, crafting and closing strategic deals with an eye to long-term success
  • Consult and collaborate with publishers to help them leverage our monetization products and services suite to grow their business
  • Identify new business opportunities and open doors; manage pipeline and develop strong relationships with tier 1 publishers
  • Collaborate to develop a clear process around sales strategies, and lead team in forecasting, strategy, and upselling
  • Lead management of flagship accounts and ensure delivery of optimal performance
  • Partner with internal teams (marketing, sales management, etc.) to develop go-to-market strategy
  • Promote the platform both internally and at industry events, articulating the company value proposition, and develop productive, long-term relationships with relevant decision makers
  • Develop roadmaps for future publisher strategies


  • A proven history of developing and managing relationships with tier 1 publishers and their partners
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams with a culture of collaboration and success
  • Technical competence and an in-depth understanding of digital publishing and the ad tech ecosystem
  • Established relationships with digital publishers and a demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close enterprise level business
  • At least eight years of relevant experience within the publisher/ad tech space, and a minimum of four years leading account management teams
  • The ability to set and maintain a positive culture that values success, team work, flexibility, and the unique challenges of a dynamic environment
