VP Product Development – New York, NY

Our client, an emerging leader in SaaS tech, is looking for a talented VP of Product Management with agency experience to join their growing team. This role requires a product expert who can communicate product offerings to clients and work cross-functionally to deliver a superior customer experience. As VP of Product Management, you’ll define brand positioning and stay current on the latest trends in the industry. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with a deep knowledge of the evolution of TV advertising who can deliver creative offerings to stay on the forefront of innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate product requirements for brand portfolio, defining and owning the vision, client, and market requirements
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Sales on implementing business case for products
  • Assist development teams with design and technical specifications and work with the design team to deliver valuable customer experiences for new and existing users
  • Develop programmatic actionable insights, minimize data management effort, and monetize product modules
  • Help Product Marketing team to develop propositions for various markets, including MVPDs, OTT, Publishers, DSPs, National Broadcasters, and brand direct advertisers
  • Develop a deep knowledge of customers’ needs and market opportunities
  • Develop client-driven integration plans, assessing risks, and tailoring offerings to meet client KPIs
  • Spearhead communication between internal and external stakeholders to articulate value to current and potential customers
  • Prioritize product needs and define product roadmap by incorporating internal and client feedback
  • Articulate product value and value proposition to clients
  • Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, the digital ecosystem, and our competitors and utilize this knowledge to regularly educate the team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5 + years of experience in product management in AdTech with a full understanding of media buying and planning within an agency
  • A track record of successful product fulfillment with knowledge of Advanced TV platforms including CTV and ACR
  • Familiarity with digital attribution, TV lifecycle, SaaS, and programmatic media buying
  • A strong communicator who can support product packaging through addressable, customer engagement, user experience, etc.
  • History of improving SaaS products and automating business processes across marketplaces to increase revenue and reduce cost
  • Demonstrated success in creating product requirements and specifications
