VP Technical Services – New York, NY

Are you a technical services pro with experience cultivating a team and supporting clients? Our client is an award-winning technology platform in the video space and they require a tech minded VP able to architect and implement solutions; build and sustain a service-oriented team; and ensure flawless, on-time delivery of client campaigns. Managing both the custom solutions engineering and global support teams, this position is responsible for implementing, updating, and enforcing standards for process excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leverage operational data, industry trends, and stakeholder feedback to roadmap direction and plans as well as designing and refining services
  • Work with Product team to provide user feedback and insights, and to establish and maintain a mechanism for continuous improvement
  • Develop systems and metrics for training and team development
  • Cultivate talent and grow a collaborative team dedicated to client sucess
  • Lead team, delegate workload and resources, determine staffing and outsourcing needs
  • Manage production and availability of technical documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A decade of experience in a leadership role and a deep understanding of the ad tech space
  • History of success managing a team in a rapidly growing company
  • Experience building teams, managing remote team members, and cultivating excellent talent
  • Experience a managing a presales engineering team or custom solutions engineer teams (solutions engineers, technical architects)
  • Demonstrated excellence understanding client business and collaborating to craft technical solutions
  • Superb communications skills with the ability to analyze data and present
  • SQL, JavaScript, server-side languages (PHP, Ruby, Java, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with ticket based support operations (jira, zendesk, or similar)
