Business Development Manager – NY or LA – Remote 

The Role:

Our client is a leader in digital advertising and connects advertisers to unique intent-driven and untapped audiences outside the purview of traditional search engines. They are looking for a seasoned and capable Business Development Manager who is passionate about digital advertising. The role will identify, pitch, and sign new supply partnerships for the company’s advertising platform and oversee the rollout of future publisher-related product introductions. You will also establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations and will utilize those relationships to drive sustainable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, strategic, and sets a high bar for themselves. Strong attention to detail is required, as is the ability to see ‘the big picture. Responsibilities: 

• Prospect, pitch, and sign new supply partnerships for the company’s advertising platform and other publishing initiatives.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential partners to manage new business opportunities and new product introductions.
• Continually evaluate and improve upon new business strategies.
• Negotiate contract terms and execute partner agreements.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years experience in the digital advertising ecosystem.
• 5+ years experience in a Business Development role, including prospecting, signing new business, and meeting revenue goals.
• Ability to strategically think about new business opportunities and the best ways to drive revenue growth.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• The ability to be detail-oriented while being able to keep ‘the big picture in mind.
• Possess a positive, motivated, and results-oriented attitude.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Existing relationships with top-tier digital publishers.
