Our client, a long-standing leader in software technology, is looking for a talented Director of Media to join their fast-growing team. The role requires a data expert with a solid background in media strategy and leading a team. As Director of Media, you’ll lead all paid media efforts across channels including social, programmatic, and direct premium buys. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide insights and optimization recommendations that help evolve a brand.


  • Create new campaigns that reach a broader audience
  • Manage and propel the global strategic vision of in-house media campaigns across programmatic and social media channels
  • Test & evolve media strategy for each platform and funnel
  • Develop action plans for achieving and measuring media success, including setting key metrics, measurement, and optimization strategies
  • Establish the best media outlet mix for promotional strategies
  • Utilize data and KPIs throughout full campaign process from planning and post campaign analysis
  • Create and present campaign strategy and performance results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure media plans align with larger content requirements and business strategy
  • Optimize ad strategies for varying channels and audiences, ensuring cohesive messaging across campaigns
  • Assist marketing team with managing ad budget
  • Develop points of view on new tech, trends, and marketplace opportunities
  • Establish long-term relationships with media influencers to promote brand
  • Collaborate with VP-level executives to develop and streamlining the media buying and execution process


  • 5+ years of experience in media planning, buying and measurement experience across paid social and programmatic channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google
  • Search experience a major plus
  • Working history using budget planning and estimation tools for budget allocations and leveraging research/platform insights tools to build audience segments
  • Hands on keyboard experience in platform managing and optimizing buys through API and/or self-serve tools
  • Experience in applying digital media and social marketing to drive strict KPI’s against brand-building & lead generation initiatives
  • Measurement expertise including brand lift studies, Google analytics tracking and attribution
  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate metrics into insights into action and ensure all reporting are meeting business needs
