Our client is leading the industry in video technology, and they’re looking for a Director of Publisher Business Development to lead a high-growth team. This role requires a customer-centric leader who can manage new and existing partnerships with publishers, platforms, and programmers, negotiating and closing deals. As Director of Publisher Business Development, you’ll be responsible for supply-related needs across all devices and formats, and securing video and CTV integrations by header bidding. The ideal candidate is a programmatic expert with publishers who works well in an agile, fast-paced environment and can develop winning strategies to achieve programmer goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive new business across VOD and CTV with local and national publishers and video programmers, increasing access to unique supply
  • Increase market penetration of product offerings, working with leadership to grow strategic partnerships
  • Secure meetings with stakeholders to drive increased usage
  • Work cross-functionally to close product feedback loop, develop creative ad strategies, and create comprehensive solutions across digital, connected, and traditional TV
  • Optimize ad performance and partner yield for PMPs and open auction, continuously refining tactics with account managers
  • Analyze client needs and analytics data to develop insights that inform business strategies
  • Monitor campaign data and visuals, and drive RTB integrations to maximize yield and inventory
  • Facilitate mediation, complex commercial agreements, and help large content owners navigate the integration process
  • Meet revenue and sales goals while managing client relationships to ensure business objectives and client needs are met

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in ad ops or ad tech with programmatic and Connected TV ad experience highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of header bidding and JavaScript within the CTV landscape
  • Extensive project management experience with a deep understanding of ad serving integrations, online video advertising, and similar tech
  • A go-getter with a creative mindset who can lead partnership conversations
  • Excellent communicator with an understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
