Senior Director of Programmatic Sales

OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading global media company, is looking for a Senior Director of Programmatic Sales to develop and execute a sales plan, manage a team of account executives, and work with different stakeholders to achieve revenue goals. This position reports to the GM, VP of Programmatic Revenue Platforms and Operations, and is based in NY. Job duties include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Leverage data, insights and technology to build successful client solutions across the digital footprint, which reaches 65 million+ monthly unique visitors
      • Develop a sales plan and pipeline to drive incremental revenue from existing and new clients
      • Engage key influencers and decision makers within agencies and direct clients to champion company programmatic product and services
      • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including: lead prospecting, scheduling pitch meetings, negotiating and closing key brand accounts
      • Review, analyze, forecast, and execute sales targets, working closely with the GM of the Programmatic business unit
      • Work in conjunction with the digital sales team to drive revenue and structure higher value, premium programmatic deals with agency and client partners
      • Acts as a liaison between the organization and the larger community, building relationships with peer and industry organizations when appropriate
      • Analyze trends in programmatic and data driven marketing and make recommendations to the management team

REQUIREMENTS

      • 10+ years of programmatic media sales and/or operations experience required with demonstrated leadership ability
      • Excellent team management skills, including: the ability to recruit, manage, coach, and mentor staff in a way that motivates top performance and inspires collaborative behavior
      • Candidate must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, and be able to work effectively autonomously
      • Must be a team-player, able to work across teams and functions in a complex organization
      • Must have excellent and proven relationship-building skills, strong written and demonstrated oral presentation skills
      • Strong organizational, detail, problem-solving and follow-up skills
