VP General Manager – Programmatic Revenue Platforms & Operations

OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading global media organization, is looking to fill a new position: VP, GM Programmatic Revenue Platforms & Operations, who will be charged with defining the strategy and assembling the right technology partners to support programmatic ad sales growth, and data & audience driven sales solutions for their digital business. This position reports to the Senior Vice-president of Sales Operations and Development, and could be based in NY or in Miami. Job duties include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Develop and execute a strategy to scale the programmatic opportunity for the company
      • Creates annual financial and operating plans that support strategic direction
      • Effectively hire and manage the programmatic team (sales and business development, as well as operations and client services)
      • Assemble the right technology to maximize revenue and serve clients
      • Collaborate with the product and tech teams to discover, investigate and evaluate emerging technologies, services and partnerships
      • Work in conjunction with the sales team to drive revenue and structure higher value, premium programmatic deals with agency and client partners
      • Act as a liaison between the organization and the larger community, building relationships with peer and industry organizations when appropriate
      • Analyze trends in programmatic and data driven marketing and make recommendations to the management team

REQUIREMENTS

      • 10+ years of programmatic media sales and/or operations experience required with demonstrated leadership ability
      • Thrive in a fast paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
      • Candidate must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, and be able to work effectively autonomously
      • Must be a team-player, able to work across teams and functions in a complex organization
      • Must have excellent and proven relationship-building skills, strong written and demonstrated oral presentation skills
      • Strong organizational, detail, problem-solving and follow-up skills
