Prohaska Consulting launches OpenLeads, a new service helping Publishers drive more Private MarketPlace deals

NEW YORK, NY (October 17, 2017) – Prohaska Consulting, the world’s leading full-service consulting practice in Programmatic Advertising and Marketing, today unveils OpenLeads, its first owned product to assist sellers in closing more Private MarketPlace (PMP) deals.

The service automatically brings Open Auction buying data: by brand, spend level, and CPM, into the Leads section of, where sales teams can easily access new prospects and prioritize who to pursue first for PMP upsells.

“This has been a much-needed service to save Operations teams valuable time pulling and aggregating data and responding to a sellers’ requests asking about spending levels every time she sees an ad she did not directly sell,” said Matt Prohaska, CEO & Principal at Prohaska Consulting. “We have been looking for a service like this for years when helping our 100+ Publisher clients either with Yield Optimization, Sales Training, or PMP Representation. The service more than pays for itself with just one new PMP sale a quarter, not including all the time the Operations team gains to spend on more strategic work helping drive new business with Sales.”

OpenLeads today links Open Auction buying data through APIs from leading exchanges Rubicon Project and Google’s AdX with top CRM Salesforce. Prohaska has plans to connect all the remaining major SSPs with Salesforce and other CRMs widely-used by sales teams globally.

“Publishers are constantly looking to get more value from their technology partners,” said Michael Barrett, President & CEO of Rubicon Project. “As we continue to expand and enhance our sell-side services, this new utility allows our revenue and operations teams to work even more in sync, helping to drive new PMP deals within our exchange.”

Michael Stoeckel, VP Global Tech Strategy and Publisher Operations at Prohaska led the production effort over several months with James Rooney, former head of product at Accordant Media, and developers from Mined Minds, based in West Virginia.
