Prohaska Consulting Names Veteran Investor and Industry Executive Mark Wright to Lead M&A Client Practice

PROHASKA NAMES VETERAN INVESTOR AND INDUSTRY EXECUTIVE MARK WRIGHT TO LEAD M&A CLIENT PRACTICE

New York City – February 24, 2023 Prohaska Consulting, the leading global data transformation consultancy, announced today the appointment of Mark Wright as the new leader of its Investor M&A Strategic Advisory practice. In this role, Wright will advise Prohaska’s venture capital, private equity, and corporate clients on acquisitions plus investments in advertising and marketing technology.

Wright brings decades of institutional investor and digital tech operator expertise to Prohaska Consulting coupled with deep overall experience in digital advertising and marketing. A respected strategist, advisor, and investor to numerous groundbreaking industry startups, Wright is also a serial entrepreneur having founded two industry startups which both went public and were subsequently acquired by large global corporations. At the dawn of the digital media era in the mid-1990s, he created data analytics SaaS platform @plan (APLN) which was a critical driver behind the rise of online advertising and retailing.

As head of Prohaska’s investor business, Wright will work closely with the firm’s existing team of experienced consultants and data analysts to provide clients with comprehensive market analysis, due diligence, and strategic advice on investments in the adtech & martech industries. He will also be responsible for expanding Prohaska’s client base in the VC and PE sectors.

Wright’s hire comes at a pivotal time as both the buy- and sell-sides of the business strive to map successful strategies for a post-3rd-party cookie landscape, industry consolidation, and ever-increasing pressure for greater cost efficiencies.
