Sales Engineer – New York, NY

Our client is pioneering the real-time technology and ad exchange space, and they’re looking for a talented Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. This role requires a proven sales professional with excellent client service skills who can translate client needs into elegant solutions. As Sales Engineer, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate a feedback loop from clients and maintain a deep understanding of existing product solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about ad tech and has extensive experience working with enterprise-grade clients and across digital platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as face of client communication for product solutions
  • Identify and represent business and technical goals, managing product development and delivery
  • Represent technology needs across the buy and sell side of ad tech space
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging tech to help expand product offerings and develop innovative solutions
  • Partner with internal and external sources to address technical requirements, limitations,
  • Act as client representative during engineering conversations to ensure client’s best interests are considered
  • Oversee and document internal training to improve technical proficiency and efficiency of teams

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6-10+ years of professional experience or equivalent practical experience with experience leading solution architecture or implementation across display, video, desktop, mobile, and OTT required
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience developing key technical and commercial partnerships with internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated familiarity with major DSPs, SSPs, and ad servers
  • Positive leader with proven project and team management experience
  • The ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • Effective presentation and communications skills
