Senior Manager of Sales Engineering – New York, NY

DESCRIPTION
Our client is innovating the programmatic trading marketplace, and they’re looking for a talented Senior Manager of Sales Engineering to join their thriving team. This role has some client-facing elements and requires technical account support and serving as a subject matter expert of brand’s current product offerings. As a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering, you’ll assist cross-functional teams in developing their business development, strategies, and marketplace knowledge. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly collaborative, and passionate about online advertising and the programmatic ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and refine strategic technical solutions to expand revenue from existing accounts
  • Spearhead in-depth analysis for clients and provide client performance insights
  • Act as a liaison between client services and clients to present new offerings and features
  • Serve a subject matter expert and assist with educating clients on technology
  • Serve as face of client communication for product solutions
  • Identify and represent business and technical goals, managing product development and delivery
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide feedback loop on performance and troubleshoot solutions
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging tech to help expand product offerings and develop innovative solutions
  • Manage internal teams and maintain deep understanding of every aspect of existing partnerships including technical specifications and business development initiatives
  • Act as client representative during engineering conversations to ensure client’s best interests are prioritize

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in an external-facing role within RTB advertising space
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of technical and integration process within media trading industry
  • Deep familiarity with SQL, reporting systems, programmatic media trading, and RTB best practices and technologies is essential
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
  • Highly analytical with a strong data analysis skill set that condenses complex data into actionable solutions
  • Proven leader with demonstrated project and team management experience
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment across various cultures and languages
  • Ability to travel frequently
