Media Director- Programmatic and Social- Raleigh, NC

Our client, a digital agency revolutionizing e-commerce marketing is looking for a talented Programmatic Service Lead to innovate new and existing product offerings. As Programmatic Service Lead, you’ll select and develop technologies to expand their programmatic display service. This role requires a strategic leader with the ability to scale and execute media partnerships while developing internal processes to streamline operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is familiar with programmatic display best practices and skilled in driving profitable service growth.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Lead team strategy and creation of services including pricing, packaging, and service definitions for social channels and programmatic display
  • Educate team and department around programmatic display best practices, scaling processes to streamline operations
  • Oversee operations including billing, budget, and campaign creative trafficking
  • Curate productive working partnerships with digital account team to assist with investment, planning, and analytics
  • Facilitate high-value inventory opportunities by working alongside tech team and publishers to source, evaluate, and implement deals
  • Develop and implement workflow processes to ensure on-time and accurate delivery
  • Own planning and execution of media planning and buying across video, display, and mobile
  • Scale media partnerships by generating and presenting RFPs, media plans, objectives, strategy, and other relevant media documents
  • Apply knowledge of media planning tools into a competitive marketplace for plan reporting and target digital consumption support
  • Utilize paid media expertise and monitor trends, tools, opportunities, and applications to identify inventory and potential revenue growth
  • Extract insights from campaign performance and present findings
  • Compose campaign post-launch data including links, placement information, and screenshots to show proof of value for clients
  • Oversee daily communications with vendors, technology partners, and agencies
  • Support team members with skills development to inspire a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Provide status meetings and ad-hoc reports to key stakeholders for updates on campaign and account performance
  • Serve as client liaison and provide troubleshooting for complex, urgent client issues
  • Translate client goals into programmatic activation strategies, including defining a target audience and sourcing inventory, to ensure the campaign is fully optimized and aligned with KPIs alongside agency and client objectives
  • Spearhead strategic processes of programmatic team and ensure a high level of quality service from onboarding to managing client feedback

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2 – 5+ years of media and ad tech experience with recent team management experience
  • 2 – 5+ years of media experience, ideally within an agency
  • Familiarity with media planning tools including Nielsen, ComScore, and DoubleClick among others
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledgeable of media metrics, measurements, and tracking technologies
  • A great communicator who understands how to manage KPIs and translate client requirements into media plans
  • Analytical with the ability to work alongside senior-level leaders and decision-makers
  • Based in Raleigh, North Carolina
