VP of Agency Development – US – NYC

Our client is an ad tech leader, and they’re looking for a talented VP of Agency Development to join their thriving team. The role requires a seasoned sales leader with a deep understanding of programmatic who can manage their portfolio of agency holding companies. As VP of Agency Development, you’ll manage and grow high-value partnerships, driving value for their programmatic partners. The ideal candidate is a hunter who can identify advertising budgets and navigate the programmatic ecosystem to close new business.


  • Evangelize products and technology to agency decision makers
  • Drive global commercial strategy for major holding companies from contracts, joint business plans, and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leverage relationships to scope marketplace opportunities to drive customer success and develop new integrations
  • Define strategy based on customer and market feedback, translating analysis into product requirements and new features
  • Interpret KPIs to define areas for growth and improvement
  • Employ a consultative approach through hosting regular business reviews to build productive relationships with agency stakeholders
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve ad programs and contribute to written strategy documents


  • BA/BS in Business or other related field with 3+ years of experience partnering with SSPs, DSPs, and/or publishers
  • 8+ years of experience working within online media buying/selling with 2+ years focused on agency holding companies
  • Team player with the ability to travel 4+ times per quarter
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising space
  • Strong knowledge of how digital and video is bought/sold & delivered across desktop, CTV, and mobile
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience
  • Excellent project management skills with a customer-driven attitude
