Our client is transforming the online mobile space and they’re looking for a talented VP of Advertising Monetization to join their thriving team. The role requires a proven leader who can usher the company through the next stage of growth while meeting profit goals. As VP of Advertising Monetization, you’ll develop and execute the advertising, programmatic, and monetization strategies while leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a programmatic expert with the industry influence to establish profitable partnerships and drive their vision forward.
- Establish partnerships with key advertisers through direct sales and programmatic channels.
- Own entire book of business, negotiating and closing complex deals
- Build ongoing revenue streams, developing ad strategy to fulfill sales targets
- Hire and lead an enterprising team, guaranteeing they have the operational infrastructure and resources to be highly effective
- Oversee sales funnel and forecast, establishing relevant metrics and KPIs
- Stay updated on industry, trends, and competitors
- Update product roadmap with marketplace feedback to ensure competitive advantage
- 8+ years of experience in mobile, programmatic, and brand advertising sales
- Proven track record of managing a digital team with a robust pipeline of DSP, agency, and brand contacts that you can call into
- Deep understanding of programmatic, monetization, and ad-supported mobile apps
- A resourceful negotiator who can incentivize a diverse group of stakeholders to buy in and maximize profit margins
