VP of Agency Relationships – US – NY

Our client is a global leader in mobile brand advertising, listed in the Financial Times as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies and named a BuiltinNYC top midsize company to work for.

Our client is looking to hire a VP of Agency Partnerships, in charge of building partnerships and trading agreements with major U.S. holding companies. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales in the U.S., this position will be instrumental in driving the company’s agency revenue. As a senior level individual contributor, the position will work closely with regional agency sellers and leaders, developing, aligning, and executing against a strategic approach to drive enhanced partnerships, and up-leveling with key senior decision makers across all aspects of the agency business. The ultimate goal in this position is to improve relationships and revenue with these partners and unify the company’s approach across all U.S. regions.


  • Provide strategic guidance and input as well as identifying partnerships and growth opportunities for the business
  • Partner and coordinate with Regional Sales Leads to unify our strategy at each of the holding companies and each of their operating divisions
  • Define and execute strategies that bring together Sales, Product Marketing, POD (tech), and Finance to ensure the full engagement of the agencies
  • Navigate and remove blockers both internally and with agencies
  • Identify upsell opportunities through analysis of current partnerships
  • Ensure strong understanding of strategy and product offerings as well as the point of view on industry topics to share with current and potential partners
  • Navigate all levels of agencies, including senior leadership, trading desks, centers of excellence
  • Negotiate trading agreements, rate cards and enterprise partnerships
  • Align with our Global Head of Trading to leverage success across all global markets


  • You will have an exceptional network within the key agency groups, particularly at director level and above, and will have experience in managing and signing agency trading agreements
  • You are a strategic seller and are comfortable working with longer, more complex sales cycles
  • Working cross-functionally comes naturally to you, you can work seamlessly and effectively with different business units to achieve yours and the businesses goals
  • You have a strategic mindset, you appreciate and can navigate the nuances of different regions
