Google’s identity solution, primarily delivered through Google Identity Services (GIS), aims to provide secure, seamless, and privacy-preserving authentication for users. It consolidates multiple identity tools into a single SDK, featuring the “Sign in with Google” button and the “One Tap” prompt, which allows users to authenticate without needing to remember passwords. These services use secure tokens to enhance security and reduce the risk of password-related vulnerabilities. As part of its Privacy Sandbox initiative, Google is also transitioning to Federated Credential Management (FedCM) to replace third-party cookies, ensuring a streamlined and secure user experience across websites and apps
